1. When should I start getting mammograms? 
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends that women start getting mammograms at age 40, or earlier if they have a
family history of breast cancer.


2. When should I start getting Pap smears? 
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends that women start getting Pap smears at age 21, regardless of sexual activity. The
frequency of Pap smears will depend on your age and medical history.


3. What hospitals are you affiliated with?
Our providers are affiliated with Piedmont Newnan Hospital.


4. What are the age limits for being a patient at Georgia OB/GYN?
We care for patients ages 12 and up.


5. Who do I call when I need a prescription refill?
You may call our office (770-252-5290) or have your pharmacy fax the request (770 252-5295) for prescriptions/refills. For our established patients
medications are routinely prescribed electronically Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Be prepared to give your name,
date of birth, and pharmacy number when you call. Please allow two business days for a response to your request.


6. Do you offer same-day appointments?
Yes, we offer same-day work-in appointments. 


7. What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your current insurance cards, a photo ID, and a complete list of all medications.


8. Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans. However, it is important for you to verify whether we accept your specific health insurance plan at the time you
schedule an appointment or refer to the website list of Insurance Plans.


9. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Amex, Discover, Visa, and Mastercard. 


10. Do you offer Self-pay rates for uninsured patients?
Call our office to find out the self-pay rates for patients without insurance.

Take for temperature ≥ 100.4 or as needed for discomfort.

GAS/ FLATUS

DIARRHEA

  • Avoid milk/dairy

Increase clear liquids for 48 hours

HEARTBURN/ INDIGESTION

  • Mylanta
  • Maalox
  • Tums
  • Rolaids
  • Gaviscon
  • Pepcid

Liquid is more effective than tablets.

Avoid Alka-Seltzer or Pepto Bismol.

Avoid large, greasy, or spicy meals.

Try eating yogurt or milk before meals
